Preserving New England's architectural legacy for future generations
(802) 793-2071 | VT, NH, MEOur mission is to preserve the historic timber frame structures of New England for future generations. We believe that the barns, covered bridges, churches and meetinghouses that are disappearing from our landscape are a vital part of our rural heritage and among the last vestiges of true master craftsmanship. It is the goal of Knobb Hill Joinery to preserve these important structures and restore them to their original grandeur.
Although often born of necessity, the structures of early New England reflect an architectural departure from their European antecedents and with this departure came an affirmation of the values of a new and autonomous nation. We see these structures as an expression of autonomy, creativity and tenacity that has scarcely been rivaled in modern times. We have dedicated ourselves as stewards of these structures so that they may serve as a reminder of where we came from and inspire us toward greatness.
