Project Overview

In the fall of 2006, Seth Kelley designed this Pergola located in Marshfield, VT. This open frame is 14 feet wide by 50 ft long. It is an open frame with seasonal coverings at the plate level to provide shade.  This structure is situated along side of a large swimming pool and houses a hot tub, shower and kitchenette. The timbers are all hewn tamarack.  This frame features flared posts with sideways English tying joints.  All of the braces are scribed.
